The position will take charge of the grinding process in the whole factory. The candidate is requested to speak fluent English and basic German, and should have working experience in a top 500 US company.
Lead engineering team including engineer, technician and designer to maintain and develop manufacturing engineering system mainly on grinding processes.
Maintain and develop manufacturing engineering standard and document such as process flow chart, control plan, machine setting, machine capacity, tooling, consumption spec, WI, etc.
Study daily feedback from production lines, lead team to give prompt solution for engineering related issues.
Keep seeking chances for systematic improvement in exist lines and processes, drive team to make effective improvement activities for better quality, efficiency and cost performance.
Work as expert to solve problems in grinding processes, such as burn, accuracy, C/T, tooling, etc.
Be involved in APQP activities, make feasibility study for new products or new project on grinding processes.
Lead team to prepare for new products or new project(s), develop engineering documents such as PFMEA, Control Plan, machine technical specification, tooling drawing, consumption spec, etc.
Lead team for new project launching, work on project planning, supplier selection, machine installation, run off, acceptance, PPAP, production ramp up and etc.
Prepare team work plan, monitoring progress and ensure work target achieved with required quality and delivery.
Coach team members to leverage overall team competence.
Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related field.
At least 8 years experiences in manufacturing engineering with 3 years managing experience, bearing industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge and experiences in grinding process, experiences in automotive industry is a plus.
Good understanding with TS16949 requirement, especially APQP processes and tools.
Good understanding with quality improvement tools. GB of 6 sigma is a plus.
Project management knowledge and experiences.
Industrial Engineering knowledge is a plus.
Team leadership and communication skills.
Good English level both written and verbal.
Good computer skills in MS office, Auto CAD, Pro-E, Mini-tab, etc.
Teamwork, be self-learning and self-motivated, can work under pressure.
