Inspection requirements of wire harness machining center for copper wire

Copper wire is a very important part of harness, and the quality of copper wire affects the quality of harness; Now let's know what the inspection requirements of wire harness machining center for copper wire are?

1、 Visual inspection. Place the spool filled with copper wire on the packing table, with one hand holding white paper, and place it 1-2 cm away from the copper wire, and the other hand rolling the spool of copper wire for one week, and then visually inspect whether its appearance meets the following standards.

  • The surface shall be smooth without disordered wires, oxidation, scratches, etc.

  • The cable arrangement shall be uniform.

  • The tension shall be moderate and not too loose or tight.

  • After the copper wire is rolled, the surface shall be free of dust.

2、 Wire diameter detection. Wire diameter shall be produced according to relevant standards. If the customer has special requirements, they should also be strictly controlled according to the requirements. The specific steps are as follows:

  • First debug whether the lower micrometer is zero. Place the copper wire to be checked outside the clamp wire of the micrometer, and twist the end of the micrometer with appropriate force; After hearing the micrometer ring three times, immediately observe the reading.

  • Check repeatedly until the readings are the same. The same position cannot be checked every time. Check by sections.

3、 Elongation test. The elongation shall be inspected according to relevant standards. If the customer has special requirements, they shall also be strictly controlled according to the customer's requirements. The specific steps are as follows:

Turn on the switch of elongation tester. Check whether the sensing clamp on the left side of the copper wire is in the original position and whether the reading displayed on the instrument is zero. If the clamp on the left side is not in the original position and the reading displayed on the instrument is not zero, press the zero key and the resume key immediately.
