This fully automatic multi-wire machine integrates wire cutting, stripping, twisting, tin-dipping, terminal crimping and housing insertion into a single continuous workflow. One end crimps terminals and inserts housings while the opposite end performs wire twisting and tinning, supporting simultaneous processing of multiple wires (2–12 wires or rows) to raise throughput for narrow housings and multi-group assemblies.
The system uses a modular, flexible architecture so individual function modules can be enabled or disabled via program settings. With housing insertion turned off the equipment functions as a conventional twisting/tinning and crimping unit, reducing idle time and simplifying changeovers for different product families. Changeovers are fast and simple, requiring only replacement of the corresponding crimping dies, vibrating-plate feeders and insertion jigs. This minimizes downtime and keeps production lines efficient across product variants and run-to-run changes.

Cutter, stripper and linear translation mechanisms are driven by high-precision servo motors. The cutting blade employs a positive-and-negative screw structure for stable, high-accuracy stripping, while the linear translation mechanism maintains straight wire positioning to eliminate instability caused by wire bending.
The terminal crimping unit is integrally cast from ductile iron to ensure rigid, stable crimp height. Optional quality-control features include a terminal pressure monitor for crimp-curve tracking with alarm/stop functions and an optional visual inspection (CCD) system to verify crimp appearance and dimensions. Standard drive is by variable-frequency motor with servo-driven crimping available as an option.
Operator interaction is via a color touchscreen with intuitive parameter settings and program memory for multiple product recipes. An industrial control PC with a built-in network interface supports MES integration for remote parameter read/set, remote job dispatch and centralized production management—facilitating easier line control and data-driven oversight.
