This multi-wire automatic system integrates wire cutting, stripping, double-ended terminal crimping and single-sided connector housing insertion with vibrating-plate feeding. It feeds multiple wires simultaneously and supports parallel processing to greatly increase throughput for connector assembly.
The machine supports 2–12 wires (or rows) processed at the same time; for narrow housings multiple groups can be handled concurrently to further boost production capacity. Vibratory feeding automates connector/housing supply for continuous operation.
A modular, flexible architecture allows each functional module to be enabled or disabled in software. With simple replacement of crimping applicators, vibrating-plate feeders and insertion jigs, the same equipment can switch quickly to different product types without idle waste.
Wire feeding, cutting, stripping and translation mechanisms are driven by high-precision servo motors. The cutting blade uses a positive/negative screw structure and a linear translation mechanism replaces traditional rotation to keep wires straight and accurately positioned, improving stability for high-spec wire processing.
The crimping assembly is integrally cast from ductile iron for strong rigidity and consistent crimp height. Options include a crimping force monitor for real-time force-curve monitoring and automatic stop/alarm on abnormal force, and an optional visual inspection system to check crimp appearance and dimensions.
A color touchscreen provides intuitive parameter setting and program memory for rapid product changeover. An optional industrial PC control with built-in network interface supports MES integration for remote parameter read/write, job dispatching and production monitoring.
