Used in automatic wire harness processing equipment to detect wire stripping and wire sealing defects. This inspection occurs before the wire crimping process and after wire stripping and wire sealing. The wire is detected as it passes through the sensor window. The beam is interrupted along the 28mm sensor window and high-resolution profile images are acquired. The algorithm analyzes the wire or wire sealing outline image to determine whether it passes or fails.
