Dual-End Wire Strip, Crimp & Housing Insert System

This single-wire fully automatic housing insertion machine automates the sequence of wire cutting, wire stripping, terminal crimping at both ends and automatic insertion of spring or blade terminals into single-hole housings. Housings are fed automatically by a vibrating plate, eliminating manual feeding.

The machine is designed with a modular, flexible architecture so one unit can process multiple product types. Functional modules can be enabled or disabled via the program—for example, disabling housing insertion converts the unit to a standard double-head automatic terminal machine. Tooling changes require replacing crimping dies, vibrating-plate feeders and inserting jigs, enabling fast product changeover and minimizing idle time.

Wire cutting, stripping and linear translation are driven by high-precision servo motors. The cutting blade uses a positive/negative screw structure for high stripping precision. The linear translation mechanism keeps the wire straight during processing and provides accurate positioning to resolve instability from wire bending, enabling reliable handling of higher-standard wires.

The terminal crimping assembly is integrally cast from ductile iron for strong rigidity and stable crimping height. Optional terminal pressure monitoring records the pressure curve during each crimp cycle and triggers alarms and stops on abnormalities. An optional visual inspection (CCD) system can inspect crimp appearance and dimensions to ensure product quality. The standard crimping drive is a variable-frequency motor; a servo-driven crimper is available as an option.

A color touch-screen interface provides intuitive parameter setting and program memory for rapid product switching. An industrial control option with built-in network interface supports MES connection for remote parameter read/write, task distribution and production monitoring to improve traceability and production efficiency.
