This semi-automatic multi-core sheath cable processing system performs core wire stripping, terminal crimping and connector housing insertion within a single workflow. Operators place and align the core conductors into the fixture in the required color sequence while housings are fed by a vibrating plate, and the machine then automatically completes stripping, crimping and housing insertion.
The machine features a modular, flexible design so a single unit can process a variety of products. Changing to a different terminal or connector requires only swapping the corresponding crimping dies, vibrating-plate feeder and inserting jigs, enabling quick product changeovers and minimizing idle time.
For multi-core sheathed cables with more than three cores—where automatic color ordering is difficult—the manual wire arrangement capability ensures correct color sequence before automatic processing, significantly improving multi-core housing insertion productivity.
User interaction is simplified through a color touch-screen interface with intuitive parameter setting and program memory for different products; one-touch program recall reduces setup time. The machine can be optionally equipped with an industrial PC control system supporting MES connection via a built-in network interface for remote parameter reading/setting and remote production task management. Additional quality controls such as CCD visual inspection and optional terminal pressure monitoring are available to ensure consistent results.
